Now that Diablo 4 has been officially launched, it's time to gather your party and vanquish demons. If you've purchased a special edition of the game, such as the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition, you're in for some extra rewards. These rewards can range from emotes and mounts to exclusive cosmetic sets and battle passes.

Unlocking Special Edition Rewards

The rewards from pre-ordering Diablo 4 will unlock automatically once you complete the relevant Main Story Quest. It's worth noting that there is a separate quest for unlocking mounts.

Mounts

While most of the content will be unlocked early in the game, you may notice that the Lightbearer and Temptation mounts are missing. To gain access to mounted travel and unlock these mounts, you'll need D4 Items to complete the Mount - Donan's Favor quest. Unfortunately, this quest won't be available until Act 4, so you'll have to rely on walking until then. Once you've unlocked mounts, you can equip them with the included barding by speaking to the Stable NPC in town.

Everything Else

For other special content, such as cosmetic sets and emotes, you only need to complete the game's prologue. You'll know the prologue is complete when you hand Lorath his amulet during the quest Missing Pieces.

Where To Find Unlocked Cosmetic Items

After completing the prologue, you'll be eager to equip and test out your new cosmetic items. These items will be available in their respective titles, such as:

Diablo 3: Inarius Wings and Inarius Murloc Pet

Diablo: Immortal: Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set

World of Warcraft: Amalgam of Rage Mount

You can expect to receive these items through the rewards system associated with each game, such as receiving them in a mailbox.

Where To Find Unlocked Mounts

Once you've completed the Mount - Donan's Favor quest, speak to the Stable NPC to customize your mount and access the purchased content. This is also where you'll have the option to purchase additional mounts.

Where To Find Unlocked Emotes

Your unlocked Emote, Wing of The Creator, will be included on the Emote wheel. To open the Emote wheel, hold the up key on the D-pad of your controller (or the E key on the keyboard). Cycle through the three wheels to explore different options, then select an emote to perform it.

If you don't currently see Wings of the Creator on your Emote wheel, you'll need to bind it to one of the slots.

Select "customize" to view all available emotes.

Choose "Wings of the Creator" from the list.

Select the location on the wheel where you want to bind Wings of the Creator.

How Long Will Deluxe and Ultimate Edition Rewards Be Available?

It appears that the Deluxe and Ultimate editions of Diablo 4 will be available for purchase indefinitely, meaning you can buy them at any time. If you initially purchased the standard version of the game but wish to upgrade, there is an option to do so in the in-game shop.

Once you've purchased a special edition, all relevant rewards will be linked to your Blizzard account and will not expire.
