What is the story of Rakhi?
Within the Bhagavat Puran and the Vishnu Puran following the time that Vishnu takes on the three worlds from King Bali King Bali requests Vishnu to reside at his royal palace. Goddess Lakshmi Vishnu's wife is unhappy with the situation. She puts a rakhi around King Bali and makes him an uncle. In gratitude, King Bali will grant her wishes.
